Holy shit the detailing on his head on that little sketch in the corner is absolutely insane. This is genuinely such a creative concept, I can literally see him as an actual villain in like a 2010ish cartoon.

Coming up with Alastair's design was fun as hell. I thought it would make sense to make him an object head like Vox to better show their New VS Old themed rivalry! Also, because I really appreciate the designs that go into actual cathedral radios.
In this AU, Al looks like he could kill you, Al COULD kill you, but he chooses not to. He's an outcast Overseer who makes friends with smaller sinners. It's Charlie you have to worry about!

The way u practically redesigned his whole outfit while keeping his iconic coat? Sorry to say that I dont have an ao3 account. Although, it's cool to meet someone from over there!
This was originally for an experimental/fun AU that I used to improve my own skills for larger projects. Val and the other V's were one of my favorites to work on! He and the others have been repurposed for some ocs I'm developing, but recently, I thought about how I might reanimate this AU from the dead (if the fans don't attack me again lol).
